Whale AquaSource Clear 12mm filters (part no: WF1230) are commonly used in the caravan and motor-home market, intended to remove tastes/odours from the water supply prior to consumption.

Whale AquaSource Clear 12mm filters (part no: WF1230) are commonly used in the caravan and motor-home market, intended to remove tastes/odours from the water supply prior to consumption.

Carbon based filters are not intended to make the water micro-biologically safe to drink, but wherever water is stored you can often get a musty or plastic-type taste, and this will generally resolve the issue.

The Pozzani GS10J-12 is a 12mm version of one of our most popular cartridges, and will replace the AquaSource Clear WF1230 on a like for like basis.

It should fit the same mounting clip, and may be fitted horizontally or vertically, as per your existing installation.

We also offer a 15mm version of this cartridge for caravans and motor-homes using regular sized pipework/connectors.

Cartridge life is 6 months / 5000 litres

Cost effective filter

I bought this to replace the whale version it does the same job but more cost effective

Once again, I can't figure out how to make the adaptors fit my existing pipework whatever I do. The internal diameter is too small and the external diameter is way too large so once again I just had to force the hoses over the ends and use jubilee clips. The product is first rate but the fitting not good - hence a mediocre rating.

The Filter was allegedly compatible with my Aquasource original. However, the connectors were too small a diameter to use the quick release connectors, which I had to remove entirely and it was fortunate that my existing water hose was slightly smaller than the filter connections and by immersing my hoses in hot water I was able to force the hoses over the filter connections. Be careful what you order !

Returns

In line with distance selling under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 calendar days after receipt of your goods to return them to us if you have changed your mind for any reason
