This is a genuine Samsung DA29-10105J (HAFEX/EXP, HAF-EX/AA) water filter for Samsung refrigerators, manufactured for Samsung Electronics by Microfilter Co. It is designed to be installed externally on the 1/4" cold water supply line using the quick push-in connectors. It will also work as a compatible for other side-by-side refrigerators that use an external fittings such as some models from Beko, Haier and Baumatic, amongst others.
It improves the taste and appearance of water and ice whilst also removing undesirable chlorine odours and other contaminants through use of a high grade carbon block.
The DA29-10105J is tested and certified by NSF International for safety and performance, NSF Code DA2010CB. It is recommended that this filter is replaced every 6 months or 3785 litres.
