The RIX250 improves more than just the taste of water, however, as its five stage filtration system greatly reduces a broad spectrum of pollutants whilst leaving the useful minerals largely intact.
The five stage filtration system is comprised of the following:
Stage One - 1 micron fabric screen
Stage Two - Lower bed compacting plate with screen
Stage Three - Multi-media filter bed for chlorine, metal and hardness reduction
Stage Four - 1 micron secondary filtration screen
Stage Five - High quality 1 micron carbon block for chlorine and dissolved organic chemical removal and final polish.
The system has been thoroughly tested with all components Water Research Centre listed and BS6920 conforming. Installation is simple and maintenance of the system is easy; the cartridge only requires changing once every six months. The cartridge itself is glue-less and pulls apart meaning it can be separated into recyclable components at the end of its service life and disposed of in your weekly recycling bin.
This water filter removes up to 95% of most heavy metals, including lead, aluminium, iron, copper and cadmium, as well as removing up to 90% of dissolved organic material such as pesticides, herbicides and oil residues. Chlorine removal is excellent at up to 99%, which is why the odour and taste of the water is significantly improved.

. I ordered one on -line and found the Company most helpful and accommodating over delivery.

. The DIY instructions were excellent and I fitted the tap onto the sink in about 30minutes. No problem at all.

. The water tastes good and the flow is ok although it did slow down a little once the filter beganto work

. I think I should have asked for a longer reach tap rather than accepting the small one that comes as standard for it is sometimes difficult to place a large or odd shape vessel under the spout. Apart from that I think this has been a good buy.

. The water is just fantatstic i never realised water could be so refreshing. The flow rate is pretty good considering the process involved. At the current bargin price of 39.99 this product is simply a MUST buy.

. Prior to my purchase, I had some queries arising from my inexperience in purchasing online from overseas and from outside the eurozone. I emailed my enquiries to the company and received an immediate and comprehensive reply. I placed my order immediately. This was followed up by providing me with a continual update on the status of my order right up to actual delivery. The delivery time was excellent as the product arrived many days before I had expected it.

. Unfortunately, I did not specify that the type of pipe into which I must connect the system is a plastic version. The accompanying documentation provides me with information on sorting this problem via contact with the technical department. I have not had the time to get around to that activity at this point. I expect to make contact next week and with the confidence in your service acquired from my experience so far I expect everything will be in order.

. A friend has found the 250 model ideal as a drinking water filter for his boat, and is well pleased with it's performance, he say's the filter out performs models designed for boats.

. I am sure as the word speads from friend of the friends and family who have been given the 600 models as presents, I will be ordering many more in the near future.
