Pozzani HM600 Limescale and Heavy Metal Reduction

We have used a twin sytem since 2003 and it performs as promised. The HM600 combined with the IX600 deals with the really hard water we have here in North Linconshire and provided the cartridges are replaced in due time there is virtually no scale build up in the kettle etc and the water tastes much better.
. We are about to refit the kitchen and intend to reinstall this system combining it with a three way (hot, cold & filtered) tap in preference to the single cartridge sytem from the sink/tap manufacturer

Works very well, but on a reasonable use of the filter, it seems to me that a 3 month life is more likley than 6 months. Water was excellent up to the that point, but after this time, scum etc was seen on the surface of our tea & also there was scale build up in the kettle. For 3 months an excellent unit.

Excellent results when newly installed, but the cartridges don't seem to last that long, even with the water flow set slow (1 litre per minute). There are only two of us in the house, using the water only for drinking and hot beverages. We notice deterioration of the water starts after about six weeks. Maybe our water is particularly bad ?

. However again I found the website a little less than friendly. You really have to hunt around to find the filter that you wanf and the search facility is no help.

. Also a re-order facility is offered but requires a customer reference number which is not quoted in any e-mail correspondance and is therefore not available.

Does an excellent job of stopping the stains in cups and mugs caused by black tea.

Works fine and you get a good result however it's difficult to know when the filter needs replacing. Only lasts 3 months.

We fitted the Pozzani No10 dual filter system (HM600 scum/scale + IX 600) in conjunction with a Franke Triflow tap. The system also supplies the American fridge making the fridge filter obsolete (a real bonus considering the price of fridge filters).

. The quality of the filtered water is excellent, both in terms of taste and in complete freedom from kettle/teacup scale. The previous solution to our very hard water, was the Britta filter jug which is ok, but inconvenient and also expensive. The Pozzani water is much superior and instantly available.

. After almost 3 months from installation the first signs of scum began to appear in the kettle. A change of HM filter fixed that immediately. Bearing in mind that our consumption of drinking water has soared and some has also been used for cooking, filter life is acceptable. My tip is to order 5 or more filters at a time as a bulk buy is discounted. I suggest that this information should be stated on the website. You could also reduce the bulk/cost of packaging if pre-packed in 5's (just a thought!).

. In summary a very good product and an excellent company to deal with. The service provided by Steve Malloney - technical guidance in selecting our system and providing all the pipes and couplings to make it happen was well beyond my expectations.

Can't fault the system,certanly saves on kettles,taps & irons.
. Best of all the water tastes great and no scum on a cup of tea,
. wouldn't be without it , so get yourself one you won't be disapointed.
