No10 Twin Scum & Scale Water Filter System

When used in hard water areas, this system is effective at preventing undesirable kitchen scale and scum. Sinks, draining boards and taps remain spot free, kettles have an increased lifespan and hot drinks have no scummy top layer.
Installation of the system is easy and no previous plumbing experience is necessary. Once fitted, maintenance is minimal; the cartridges simply need to be replaced every six months, dependent on use and incoming water quality .
The maximum operating pressure rating for the system is 95 psi. If your pressure is expected to exceed 90 psi we recommend the fitting of a pressure regulator.
The ambient temperature operating range is 5°C to 40°C and the housing should be protected from cold, frost and excess heat.
Cartridges and performance
HM600
The HM600 cartridge reduces the temporary water hardness through use of an ion exchange process. The cartridge exhausts in direct proportion to the hardness of the water and the amount used.
IX600
This is a general purpose multi-stage cartridge that will remove chlorine, heavy metals, dissolved organics, oestrogens and more. Dirt and suspended solids are also removed down to 5 microns.

. so i have purchased the No10 twin from Pozzani and already we are getting good results one day on,
. i can not comment on lime scale yet but scum is a thing of the past, my wife drinks green tea and it leaves the cup brown with scum not any more cup is clean.
. There is no smell from the water as before and it tastes so much better already, makes a realy good smooth tasting cup of tea with no bitter taste.
. delivery was free next day royal mail, ordered on Monday received fitted and working on Tuesday
. One small tip after fitting make shure you realy flush the filters through with short bursts of water to clean them out.
. Thank you Pozzani for a very promising piece of kit and i will be back in six Months for new filters and to comment on the limescale situation.

. I've been using the replacement cartridge for a few weeks now, and I'm afraid to report that it is just as bad as the first, and even though we are using the supposedly filtered water, it's just as bad as if I hadn't filtered it. Our brews are still like an oil slick with particles floating. So, unfortunately, as much as I'd like to give a good review on this system, the truth is, I can't and to sum this up, it's a waste of money. Pozzani are doing thier best but I don't think these systems can cope with the water in this area which is as hard as nails. You might find it ok if your area isn't as bad. We're seriously thinking of moving to Wales where the water is softer. Drastic measures you might think, but I can't go on indefinitely not being able to enjoy a decent brew, unless someone comes up with something else. Sorry I can't be more positive.
