The NEW IX350P cartridge supersedes the IX250P/IX230P. The new filter cartridge still offers 4 stage filtration only it is a slightly longer cartridge. It is approximately 4cm longer but will still fit in exactly the same way as before. The recommended flow rate is still 2.5 litres per minute and the filter will still need to be changed every 6 months.
The suffix P designates the addition of an anti-scale stage which reduces the presence of limescale deposits in very hard water areas.
Stage 1: Ceramic filtration medium (1 micron) eliminates 99.8% of bacteria and 98% of suspended solids.
Stage 2: Carbon of high quality with special silver impregnation dramatically reduces chlorine and dissolved organic pollutants such as agro-chemicals, solvents, THM's, TCE's, PCB's, etc.
Stage 3: Ion Exchange system specific to heavy metals dramatically reduces lead, aluminium, copper, mercury, cadmium, iron, etc.
Stage 4: Block carbon ultra-efficient stage further reduces chlorine, dissolved organic matter and particulates, finally polishing the water.
Product Features: Cartridges need only to be changed once every six months. Cartridges are low in price. Efficient postal and/or email reminder system. Easy cartridge change procedure.
EXISTING CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: This cartridge will only fit in the newer style housings. The newer style housings have both the red and the blue tubing attached to the TOP of the housing.
If you have your red tube entering at the BOTTOM of the housing, it is likely that the housing is over ten years old and you will need to upgrade it. The cost of a new housing is £15.00 orders can be processed online or by calling 01507 608 100.
