The IX250P/IX230P-UC cartridge has a 4 stage filtration system.

The suffix P designates the addition of an anti-scale stage which reduces the presence of limescale deposits in very hard water areas.

Stage 1: Ceramic filtration medium (1 micron) eliminates 99.8% of bacteria and 98% of suspended solids.

Stage 2: Carbon of high quality with special silver impregnation dramatically reduces chlorine and dissolved organic pollutants such as agro-chemicals, solvents, THM's, TCE's, PCB's, etc.

Stage 3: Ion Exchange system specific to heavy metals dramatically reduces lead, aluminium, copper, mercury, cadmium, iron, etc.

Stage 4: Block carbon ultra-efficient stage further reduces chlorine, dissolved organic matter and particulates, finally polishing the water.

I purchased the under counter water filter unit and installed it myself without any problems although I didnt
. have much space as the copper pipes were in an awkward position ,i managed to attach the unit and is currently providing me with pure , and lovely tasting water.
. This has been a well worth purchase that will save me a lot of money buying in filtered water and buying refills for my Brita filter jugs

I ordered 3 filter cartridges IX250P this month. I have been ordering cartridges of this type from Pozzani since we moved into our new house almost 5 years ago. Love the thought that the water we (including a toddler) drink is filtered and is pure. Every time we change the cartridge the old one is dark brown. Water is not the best quality in Waterford Ireland, but having this filter system gives me peace of mind. The service is excellent, it was easy to place the order online, very straightforward, and the cartridges arrived sooner than I expected. Brilliant service, very fast and reliable. Excellent product. It is easy to fit and very straightforward to maintain, in fact there is no maintenance apart from changing the filter every six months and applying a little vaseline to the O ring. We have been using this product over the last about 8 years and find that it really makes a difference. We live in the SE of England where the water is hard. Hard is apparently great for health reasons but it generates tons of limescale and can taste a bit ugh! but we find with the filtering the water taste definitely improve and that of course will improve the taste of tea, coffee and cooking in general. With the filter tap installed using the filtered water is easy. We can drink water from the filter tap instead of buying bottled water - we still do buy some bottles because carrying water to the gym is easy in a bottle. It doesn't get rid of limescale in the bathroom, that requires a different solution, lol!

Returns
