The IX250/IX230-UC cartridge has a 3 stage filtration system.
Stage 1:
Ceramic filtration medium (1 micron) eliminates 99.8% of bacteria and 98% of suspended solids.
Stage 2:
Carbon of high quality with special silver impregnation dramatically reduces chlorine and dissolved organic pollutants such as agro-chemicals, solvents, THM's, TCE's, PCB's, etc.
Stage 3:
Block carbon ultra-efficient stage further reduces chlorine, dissolved organic matter and particulates, finally polishing the water.

. I have been a user of pozzani products for several years and use the internet when ordering any products. They generally deliver the next day or two days at the most.
. I have found that by using a water filter I never have any particles in my water it dosen't effect the taste in any way and I am completly satisfied with Pozzani and would therefore recomend them and there products
