The IX250/IX230-UC cartridge has a 3 stage filtration system.
Stage 1:
Ceramic filtration medium (1 micron) eliminates 99.8% of bacteria and 98% of suspended solids.
Stage 2:
Carbon of high quality with special silver impregnation dramatically reduces chlorine and dissolved organic pollutants such as agro-chemicals, solvents, THM's, TCE's, PCB's, etc.
Stage 3:
Block carbon ultra-efficient stage further reduces chlorine, dissolved organic matter and particulates, finally polishing the water.

. The filtered water also makes better tasting soft drinks, so we bottle a couple of litres and keep it in the refrigerator for thirst quenching moments to drink purely on its own or to dilute fruit juices. We replace the water filters as recommended by pozzani every 6 months and no longer need to buy bottled water.

. I contacted a Crystal Therapist who performed various tests on me and at the end of the consultation suggested that my condition was due to tap water.
