This specialised 10 dual cartridge combines a 5 micron carbon block and internal 1 micron spun poly filter to not only improve the taste and odour of water but also remove sediment.
It is ideal for those who are looking for a single cartridge to cover both taste/odour issues and fine sediment filtration as well as for applications like fishkeeping where both roles can be economically combined into one housing. Another application for this cartridge includes pre-filtration for reverse osmosis (rather than a sediment stage followed by a carbon stage two of these could be used).
This cartridge will fit all standard Ametek / Pentek industry housings measuring 9 3/4" (No 10 housings).
