FilterLogic FL402 compatible with Brita Maxtra (8 Pack)

Excellent product. Brilliant price. Just used the first filter from my order. A perfect match for the Brita Maxtra filter. Even supplied with a small plug/adapter for the later model of the Brita jug. Would highly recommend this product.

i,m am happy with my water filter for now as i have just put one in my brita hot water machine i hope it lasts longer than the brita filter which do,snt quite last 4 weeks the pozzani filter fits perfectly with the small adaptor

These seem to fit the Maxtra jug perfectly well at a competitive price compared to the highstreet Brita ones. I can't comment on precisely how they compare at the job of filtering water, but take it on trust that they do. Nobody else I know bothers to filter the local domestic water supply, but I would rather get rid of some of the chlorine, which has done its job of disinfecting the water to the point of use, fluorine (I'm not sure whether to believe the conspiracy theories - depending on who you read, fluorine is the best thing since sliced bread or a mind-numbing poison), plus any other contaminants that may have got in there - heavy metals, etc.

Unlike the Brita ones, there is a soft rubber or silicone gasket round the outside of these cartridges, which I imagine will provide a better seal (it was slightly dislodged on the first and only one I've used, but easy to pop back into the recess round the side). The flow seems quite adequate, and comparable with the original - you can't have them too fast or the contents won't have time to act on the water.

I was about to abandon filtering the water altogether due to the cost, or hack an old cartridge open and stuff it with cheap active carbon, but the latter option misses a significant part of the filtration by not having the ceramic component, and I'd rather have peace of mind that my water is clean for £30 a year. The council have just sent a letter saying they're going to start work on the water, and the quality may suffer over coming months - not for us it won't.

. The pozzani website and the company's service were faultless. I wrote to them with a concern about whether I can put the used cartridges in the same collection points for recycling, or whether that is only for original Brita filters. They replied quickly, explaining that the Brita recycling program probably isn't actually very environmentally friendly, involving shipping the cartridges overseas, and also expressed commitment to green principles in developing their products. I suggested a cartridge that you can open, and simple plastic packs of media to recharge them. They'll get 5 stars if they can do that!

These are great filters! Once they are inside the kettle or fridge water dispenser, no body is none the wise weather the filter is Brita or none-genuine. I'm the only that knows the difference, I can feel it in my pocket when these filters are almost half the price. A total winner of a product. :)

Have using Pozzani for a few years now for my fridge filters, good product and customer service and I save money. Now using them for my new filter jug. All good.

Fast delivery, these filters fit and give equal service to the original Brita, and are considerably cheaper when bought as an 8 pack.

These filters seem to work fine and are a much better price than the Brita filters. The only disappointment was that they can't be recycled as the Brita filters can. They arrived very quickly after ordering, well packed and marked Fragile.
