This product will fit all Brita (TM) jugs, kettles and water coolers, as well as fridges which use Brita filtration technology, and the current models of Laica Bi-Flux, BWT and Bosch Tassimo, which also use this style of filter.

Description

8 pack of FilterLogic H-Flow cartridges designed to readily fit all Brita Maxtra jugs.

Each filter lasts for up to 150 litres as per the manufacturers original.

Jug filters are designed to remove scale forming minerals (Magnesium and Calcium ions) from the water using ion-exchange technology. Additionally activated carbon improves the taste and odour of the water by removing Chlorine and dissolved organics, leaving it tasting 'fresher' and more pleasant to drink.

This multi-stage water filter consists of:

A fine mesh pre-filter to stop large particulates and debris
An ion exchange layer to reduce limescale
Carbon layer to remove chlorine/taste/odours
A fine mesh post filter preventing further particle release
Gives crystal clear water for both hot and cold drinks.

Please note that these cartridges fit by dropping into the top of the filter jug. If you have been using the Aqua Optima Evolve filters and 'twisting' them to fit, then you require Aqua Optima compatibles, not Brita Maxtra.

We have now had two 8x Filter packs for use in our Brita filter jug and have found them excellent. They work just as well as the Brita originals but are a fraction of the cost. It is obviously down to personal tastes but I believe that the 'new filter' and 'nearly exhausted' taste is considerably less noticable than with the Brita filters.
. Would highly recommend these filters, and this supplier.

I have used the Brita Maxtra compatible cartidges for some time now, this time the new FilterLogic ones. They are just as good as the Brita ones, you wouldn't know the difference. I sued my filetr constanctly and find that they last quite a bit longer than a month - I judge by when i start to see slight scale in the kettle.

Have only been using this cartridge for one week, so cannot yet compare with the original Brita that came with the jug. If it lasts as the Brita did for a month and the water seems as clear as it is now I will definately be buying these in future, and my rating will go from good to excellent. I had cause to ring for some advice, and almost straight away was speaking to a very helpful lady who was able to answer my question straight away - no endless pushing buttons and being told my call was important ---- etc, unlike so many firms these days. So far I am more than satisfied.

Very disappointed with these filters, they do not perform as well as Brita filters. When making tea without milk there is a noticeable film on the tea and on the cup, this does not happen with Brita filters.

Returns
