After receiving many enquiries from customers looking for the Aquaflow AF517 cartridge we've sourced our own compatible filter which will serve as a direct replacement.
The main difference between the Damixa original and our cartridge is the length - with our filter being about 4 shorter.
However the fitting mechanism (i.e. how it connects to the fixed head) is absolutely identical.
The life of the cartridge is approx. 6 months.

. The Daxima cartridge is about 15cm shorter than the originals I used to use, which frees-up a surprising amount of space under my kitchen sink. Fitting it was no more complicated (=simple) than the original canisters. The water it produces, is as soft & sweet as the original, with virtually no furring of my kettle, and these cartridges seem to be as sturdy. Interestingly, despite the smaller size, these cartridges seem to last as long.
